As his workday comes to an end, a 45-year-old office employee locks eyes with an enigmatic chimpanzee, sparking a silent exchange that compels him to make an irreversible decision.
The short film has been selected for 39 festivals around the world and has received 11 awards, including the Prix de la Vague for Best Canadian Short Film at the Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA), as well as a nomination for Charles-Alexis for Best Performance in a Live Action Short at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards.
